1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms form an agreement between you and EDITRONPRO S.R.L.. By creating an account or requesting an operation, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not request the service.
The Privacy, Cookie, and Refund Policies explain related data and billing practices. Nothing in these Terms restricts mandatory consumer or data-protection rights.
2. Scope of Services
PDFly provides PDF merging, splitting, compression, page deletion and rotation, image conversion, watermarking, page numbering, password protection, and text extraction. Each operation has a displayed price. There is no monthly subscription or recurring charge.
Results depend on the source file and selected settings. Corrupt, unsupported, or password-protected inputs may require a different file or appropriate credentials.
3. User Accounts
You may explore tools and choose a local file before signing in, but an account is required to process and download files. Your account provides wallet and operation history. Keep credentials secure and notify support about suspected unauthorized access.
4. Payments and Wallet
Each tool displays its operation price before processing begins. Prices combine the tool base charge and a page-based component, rounded to whole cents. PDFly reserves the relevant wallet amount during processing and captures it only after a valid output is ready to download. If processing fails, the reservation is released.
Paid top-ups are available only where a payment checkout is offered. The checkout must show the amount, provider, and purchase terms before payment. Promotional and test credits are not monetary purchases and have no cash value. An administrative virtual top-up does not charge a card.
5. Refunds and Withdrawal
Failed operations do not create a completed charge. For duplicate charges, unavailable outputs, billing errors, or unused paid credit, follow the Refund Policy or contact support with the transaction or operation details.
Applicable EU and UK consumer withdrawal rights are preserved. Using a tool alone does not automatically waive those rights. Any valid exception for an immediately performed service depends on the express request, acknowledgement, and performance required by applicable law.
6. Limits and Acceptable Use
Each source file may be up to 100 MB. Multi-file tools accept up to 50 sources and 200 MB combined. Tool-specific format and page limits are shown before processing.
Do not upload unlawful material, malicious scripts, viruses, or content that infringes copyright, intellectual-property, or privacy rights. Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, or use unauthorized automation. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary to address abuse or legal requirements.
7. Privacy and File Retention
Uploaded source files are scheduled for deletion when processing finishes; abandoned or unprocessed uploads have a 24-hour fallback expiry. Generated results remain available in My files for 7 days, then expire and are scheduled for automatic deletion. Restricted backups are rotated separately as described in the Privacy Policy.
Files use HTTPS transport, private storage, and time-limited signed access. We process contents to perform your requested operation and do not use them for model training.
8. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership and copyright in your documents. You authorize the limited processing needed to perform the tool you request. PDFly does not claim ownership of uploaded content.
The platform's original design, branding, and software are owned by EDITRONPRO S.R.L. or its licensors. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their respective licences.
9. Service Availability and Liability
The service is provided as available. We aim for reliable processing but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation or compatibility with every file. Keep originals and review output before relying on it.
To the extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you actually paid to PDFly in the preceding 12 months. This does not exclude liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Changes to the Service and Terms
Tools, availability, and displayed prices may change. Changes apply prospectively to new operations. Material updates to these Terms will be communicated where required, together with their effective date. Changes do not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Romanian law. Competent Romanian courts may hear disputes, subject to applicable jurisdiction rules. Consumers retain mandatory protections of their country of residence and any right to bring a claim in a court available under consumer law.
