1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies when you visit PDFly, create an account, process a document, use a wallet balance, or contact support. It does not apply to third-party services that publish their own privacy notices.
2. Information We Collect
Account information may include your name, email address, verification status, and authentication details. Service records may include session information, file names, selected tools and settings, operation status, wallet entries, and timestamps.
3. Documents and Files
PDFly receives the documents and images you choose to upload and creates the output needed for your selected operation. We process file contents only to provide the requested PDF tool and do not use documents to train machine-learning models.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to provide and secure the Service, authenticate accounts, process files, calculate operation charges, maintain wallet history, deliver transactional messages, troubleshoot failures, respond to requests, and comply with applicable obligations.
5. Account and Wallet Data
Account data supports sign-in, email verification, password recovery, and access to your dashboard. Wallet and operation records support balance calculations, reservations, releases, captures, and refunds. Ledger records are protected against routine update or deletion.
6. File Retention
Uploaded source files and generated results are stored as private objects. Source files are scheduled for deletion when processing finishes; abandoned uploads have a 24-hour fallback expiry. Generated results remain available in My files for 7 days after processing and are then deleted automatically. Account, wallet, and operation records may be kept for longer where needed to provide account history, protect the Service, or meet applicable requirements.
7. Security
PDFly uses private object storage, access controls, and time-limited signed download links. Uploaded files and generated results are validated at the service boundary. No system can guarantee absolute security, so please use care when choosing documents to upload.
8. Service Providers
PDFly may use providers for hosting, storage, databases, authentication, transactional email, and customer support. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their services to PDFly and are subject to their own security and privacy obligations.
10. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a copy of certain personal information. You can submit a request through the Contact page. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it.
11. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to PDFly, please contact us so that we can review the request and take appropriate action.
12. Changes and Contact
